Goldfingerkurve
In the foodsteps of James Bond
A scene for the James Bond film ‘Goldfinger’ was filmed on the Furka Pass road in 1964. The scene centred around a sweeping bend, which was therefore also named the ‘James Bond-Goldfinger Bend’ and gave the Realp – Goldfinger snowshoe trail its name. The start and finish are situated a short walk from Realp Train Station towards the Furka steam-train depot, located directly behind the golf clubhouse. By following the road and after a short ascent, you soon reach a breath-takingly beautiful vantage point with a view that takes in Witenwasserental and Realp.
